Overview

The most effective way to help people change is to understand how they adapt their behavior in childhood in response to the adults in their lives. That's the premise on which Vann Joines, PhD, based his book Insight Out: The Six Personality Types That Hold the Key to Success in Your Life and Relationships. Once you understand the personality type that has been at your core since your youth, you can begin to put your best self forward and transform your relationships. After more than 50 years as a psychotherapist, Joines has written an in-depth yet accessible step-by-step guide to achieving personal change and developing the kinds of relationships you desire.
