He has served as an agronomist in the Shell Co. (Hellas) Ltd., then as Research Scientist at the Democritus Nuclear Research Center and the Canada Agriculture Research Branch, Vineland Station Ontario. He is the author of 109 publications, including eight books and 78 research papers.Byron Katsoyannos is Full Professor of Applied Zoology and Parasitology at the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and holds a PhD in Entomology from the Federal Polytechnic University, Zurich. He has served as Research Scientist at the Swiss Federal. Res. Station of Arboriculture, Viticulture and Horticulture, Waedenswil.
