Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJosé Alfonso Aguilar-Calderón received the B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering and M.S. in Applied Informatics from the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (Mexico) in 2005 and 2007 respectively. He obtained the Ph.D. degree in Application of the Informatics from Universidad de Alicante (Spain) in 2011. From 2006-2007, he worked as software developer in Empresaria and DpSoft, and from 2007-2009 in Computer Systems Department in Coppel S.A de C. V. in Quality Assurance area. Recently, from 2018-2020 worked as Project Manager in ARA Consultancy. Currently is Full-time Research-Professor and Coordinator of the Master's Program in Computer Science at the Facultad de Informática Mazatlán from Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa, at Mazatlán, Mexico as well as Web and Software Developer. He is the author-co-author of two books, several research articles, and 7 copyrights of software code. Also, he has directed 5 Master and Doctoral Thesis and 6 Bachelor's Thesis. Carolina Tripp-Barba received her undergraduate degree from the Faculty of Informatics at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa, Mexico, in 2006. She earned both her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Telematics Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona, Spain, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. She is currently a full-time Research Professor at the Facultad de Informática Mazatlán, Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa. Her primary research interests include vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), the design and optimization of routing protocols, smart cities, and software engineering. Dr. Tripp-Barba is a Level 2 member of the Mexican National System of Researchers (Sistema Nacional de Investigadores e Investigadoras – SNII), under the Secretaría de Ciencia, Humanidades, Tecnología e Innovación (SECIHTI). She is also a professional member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Mexican Academy of Computing (Academia Mexicana de Computación – AMEXCOMP).
