Randall is an award-winning author, speaker, and pastor; a graduate from the University of San Francisco, Global University (ICI), and the Berean Institute; and an attendee of Golden Gate Theological Seminary. He was licensed and ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliance in 1984. Following his service in the US Army and a tour in Vietnam, he served for a decade as a police officer in the San Francisco Bay Area and for four years as the Assistant Solano County Recorder. He has served as a volunteer chaplain at San Quentin State Prison, and as police chaplain, receiving training as a hostage and critical incident negotiator. His pastoral ministry began as the Administrator and Singles Pastor of a large Northern California Assembly of God church, and later he founded and pastored New Hope Christian Fellowship, a nondenominational, evangelical church in the Sacramento Valley for seventeen years. His ministry includes speaking at numerous churches, conferences, seminars, and retreats, as well as global and national missions. He is also on the board of directors of The Father's House in Leesburg, Florida, and on the board of directors of Follow the Need International, Inc., a global outreach. He has produced and hosted a weekly radio show reaching the greater San Francisco Bay Area; has written editorials, articles, and discourses; and has authored plays, vignettes, and skits. His dramatic monologue of the book of James brings the Scriptures to life as he performs ""A Man Called James."" His work and experience have equipped him with a unique insight of human conflict and divine intervention that is clearly echoed in his writings.
