Inner Space Aliens

Overview

Fifteen-year-old Erik is a Tetrachromat, a gift that allows him to see a hundred million colors, making him capable of reading the complex language of the Aurora Borealis, crucial in his role as one of Earth's interstellar ambassadors. When an ominous red aurora spells out ""war,"" he finds himself at the center of a cosmic threat. Driven by Óðin's messages in the sky, Erik teams up with his fearless twin, Finna, his steadfast best friend, Kalli, and a runaway sculptor with secrets of his own, Erik must unravel the truth behind Iceland's Huldufolk, the shapeshifting Morphyte army led by a three-eyed alien giant, and the planet-tuning Meridian Loki left behind. If Erik and his friends can't stop it, Earth will fall. Erik never asked for the title Óðin gave him, but as the mesmerizing, colorful auroras grow ever more menacing, Erik realizes he's the world's reluctant last hope. Armed with Finna's arrows and Kalli's rallying voice, the friends discover the uncomfortable truth: saving Earth will cost more than courage. Leadership asks for choices that have no right answers - only the will to choose.

Author Information

Íeda Jónasdóttir Herman (1925-2019) was born in Reykjavik Iceland and she was proud to say she could trace her ancestry from both parents back over a thousand years of Icelandic history. She met her husband during WWII at a USO dance in Reykjavik, Iceland where he was stationed with the US Navy. They married and settled in the United States, raising ten children. After she retired, Íeda started writing, self-publishing her memoirs when she was 88 years old. She went on to write three more books an co-author a cookbook. Heidi Herman spent more than thirty years in the telecommunications industry, becoming one of the most skilled cost management consultants in the country. Her career included specialties in sales, systems installation, training, and contract negotiation, giving her a broad understanding of business, which she later applied to entrepreneurship, first in a successful multi-location restaurant and later in a boutique publishing company. She has authored nine books in four genres, including children's folklore, two award-winning cookbooks, a non-fiction motivational work, and women's fiction.Today, she continues to write between time spent on motivational speaking, travel, and a variety of hobbies. Born in the United States, Heidi cherishes the Icelandic heritage passed down from her mother. Heidi loves to travel, sharing Icelandic culture and her books. When she's not on the go, she is usually found cooking something up in the kitchen.
