This book is being published as an educational tool and to give you information that is not found in general publications regarding what to look for when you or a relative need nursing or rehab care. Most articles just tell you that you watch for cleanliness, odors, and do patients look clean and are they dressed. Most articles dwell on cleanliness and odors in a facility. I decided to write this Hand Book after spending 26 days in a rehab facility because of a broken hip. 85 years of living, 17 years of my work experience was in social service agencies. Five of those were in a treatment Center for emotionally disturbed boys, 6-12 years of age. Twelve years was spent as Administrator of a 165 bed retirement and nursing home for the The American Lutheran Church, We were considered one of the best facilities in the State of Washington.
