So, a chapter on knowledge management has been also mentioned to disseminate the know-how of traditional as well as IT based tools and the underlying conceptions.

Dr. Ajay Pratap Singh B.Sc., M.P.A., M.L.I.Sc.(University of Delhi), D.S.M., Ph.D. (Library and Information Science) presently serving as Head of the Department, Associate Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science, Banaras Hind University, Varanasi (India) has a wide teaching and working experience of more than fourteen years in the field of librarianship. He has a brilliant academic record to his credit, and has been awarded several prizes, scholarships and awards for his academic achievements. He has also been supervising library based research and development work leading to the award of the degree of Ph.D., M.Phil. M.C.A. and M.Sc. (IT). He has published four books and more than three dozen research papers in various journals, national and international conferences. He has been awarded IFLA ALP-SIDA Speaker grant for visiting USA and Canada specially for attending 74th World Library Congress held at Quebec during 2008, Satellite meetings and delivering lectures at various places. He has visited various LIS schools and library systems of several countries including USA, Canada, Russia and Finland. He is associated with a number of national and international professional associations. Presently he is a Standing Committee member of Science and Technology Libraries Section of International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). His interest includes Cloud Computing, Information and Communication Technology, Digital Preservation etc. Mayank Yuvaraj, an arts graduate from Delhi University did his post-graduation in Library and Information Science from Banaras Hindu University. He secured the BHU Gold medal in 2011 for securing the highest marks. Presently he is a Junior Research Fellow and doing his research on implication of Cloud Computing in Indian Academic Libraries in the Department of Library and Information Science, Banaras Hindu University. He received the Second best Poster Paper Award on Cloud Computing at ICAL 2013. His research interests include Cloud Computing, Knowledge Management, Social Networking, Information Retrieval and Webometrics.
