Overview

This book is based on the understanding as well as the use of information technology extensively, to explore noise  related risk in residential places  due to noise and a framework is suggested  through the systematic analysis of the barriers and its implementations.Then Ergonomic analysis is done to find  problems associated in hearing .Then acoustic materials are fabricated and tested.Then a case study is conducted to reduce noise by placing acoustic material.

Suchismita Satapathy is acting as   professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. She has published more than 146 articles in national and international journals and conferences. She has also published many books and e-books for academic and research purposes. Her areas of interest include production operation management, operation research, acoustics, sustainability, and supply chain management. She has filled three Indian patents, among them two published. She has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience.
