Author Information

Christopher B. Roberts is Associate Professor and the Director of Executive Education at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences within the Australian Defence Force Academy Campus of the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is author of ASEAN Regionalism: Cooperation, Values, and Institutionalisation and has also written more than forty other publications concerning politics, security, and regionalism in East Asia. Ahmad D. Habir is Professorial Fellow and Director at the Strategic Asia Bali Institute, where he is responsible for research, executive development programs and publications. He previously served as the senior governance advisor at the United Nations Support Facility for Indonesian Recovery (UNSFIR) and was the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Director of the MBA program at the Swiss German University, Jakarta. Leonard C. Sebastian is Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Indonesia Programme at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is author of Realpolitik Ideology: Indonesia's Use of Military Force and his research focuses on a variety of fields related to Indonesia covering Politics, Political Economy and Decentralisation, Defence and Security, Civil-Military Relations, Foreign Policy and Islam.
