Steven Remy is a law enforcement officer and freelance writer who lives in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex of Texas. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University, he commissioned in the U.S. Air Force and became a criminal investigator for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). After five years of service and multiple overseas combat deployments, Steven separated from the U.S. Air Force as a Captain and began working in private industry as a corporate security professional. Realizing his passion rested in working as a public servant, he returned to work as a federal law enforcement officer in the late 2000s where he currently works today. Steven is a credentialed Certified Protection Professional (CPP) through the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and holds a Master of Arts degree in Business and Organizational Security Management.
