Indomitable: How I Spent 37 Years In Wisconsin Prisons and Came Out Better Than I Went In. The title of the memoir says it all. The author went to prison for murder with a life sentence at age 30. After decades of self therapy, personal growth and emotional healing, he was paroled at age 67. This is a true story of overcoming adversity before and during imprisonment and ending up in a place of love and compassion. While in prison, the author earned a bachelors degree in business administration, became a published poet, and artist. Some of his poems and artwork are reproduced in the book. It should be an inspiration to everyone who reads it and proves that anyone can change and that redemption is possible for even the worst of the worst. The author was called by Christ as one of His own. He accepted that calling and has followed the two greatest commandments since then: to love God with all his heart and soul and mind and strength and to love his neighbor as himself.
