Overview

Sammi is told her up for a big promotion, but it will require her to move overseas. She decides not to tell Indie, since there's only a small chance that she'll actually get the job. A huge business deal for Indie and her business partner, Hellene, ends up bringing Sammi face to face with her ex-girlfriend. Sammi is relieved to learn she feels nothing for her ex anymore and realizes Indie is really what she wants. Indie relies heavily on herself and her friend group. After her business partner drops a proverbial bomb on her, stating that she will be bowing out of the business, she begins to wonder if she can truly trust another person to share her life. Her divorce had left he with scars she didn't know were there. Sammi is offered her dream job in Dubai shorty after Indie and one of her children are in a terrible car accident. The pressure of severe injury and so many changes, coupled with the realization that Sammi kept things from indie, Indie decides to end the relationship. They both think the other doesn't want to build a life together. Sammi turns down the job overseas. Indie heals physically and begins to look at her emotional state more closely. A chance meeting brings them back together long enough to open the dialogue between the two women once again. Eventually, they meet up and a friend helps them sort through their misconceptions about the other. They reconcile and decide to build a life together.
