He has served also as a Deputy Director (2002-2005) and Director (2010-2012) of Asia and the Pacific Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. He participated in research projects under the European Commission grants ""Global India"" (2017-2021) and ""Eurasian Insights: Strengthening Indo-Pacific Studies in Europe"" (2018-2022).
