The author also gives insight into how issues like school consolidation, the end of one class basketball, and ""Saturday Morning"" coaches effected the game in Indiana. He feels privileged to have played against or coached with or against several INDIANA BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME inductees. He also feels a connection to the movie ""HOOSIERS"" because he either played or coached in three of the gyms used in filming the movie. His Pittsboro High School teammate and best friend's son also played Ollie in the movie. He blends episodes that occurred in the movie with situations he had during his almost twenty years of playing and coaching the best game ever invented, Indiana High School basketball. Finally. he shares his testimony of how a medical situation his wife experienced six years ago changed their life.
