(The) approachable writing style and textbook layout of the series should appeal to readers looking for basic overviews of alternative healing methods. -- Blanche Angelo, Library Journal (About the whole series) I feel that any holistic therapy student would find it valuable ... Mary Dalgleish and Lesley Hart certainly know their stuff. -- International Therapist, May/June 2008 I would recommend this book both to students and to those considering training in Indian head massage, because it is a non-nonsense guide containing a great deal of basic information. -- Anita James, In Essence 'Where was this book when I was studying Indian Head Massage?? It is well written and very well researched, with clear, useful pictures and diagrams. The authors presented the chapter [Subtle energy], with the intention of clear communication, rather than hedging it round with the fluffy, indistinct phrases often seen in some other books on this subject. All in all this is a throughouly good introduction to IHM and, I'd have thought, an essential for all IHM students. -- March 2009 issue of REFLEXIONS (Magazine of Association of Reflexologists) 20090302
