OverviewIncome inequality presents various socio-economic challenges in the global landscape, reflecting disparities in access to resources, opportunities, and economic mobility. While globalization and technological advancement fuel economic growth, they also widen the wage gap, particularly in developing regions. In response, governments, financial institutions, and international organizations have introduced various financial inclusion initiatives expanding access to banking, credit, and digital financial services for underserved populations. Further exploration of the complex relationship between income inequality and financial inclusion may reveal how targeted initiatives across different regions bridge economic divides and promote more equitable growth on a global scale. Income Inequality and Financial Inclusion Initiatives in a Global Context explores how limited access to financial services exacerbates economic disparities. It examines the effectiveness of global financial inclusion initiatives in promoting equitable economic participation and reducing poverty. This book covers topics such as global poverty, women in business, and climate change, and is a useful resource for policymakers, business owners, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
