OverviewThis research measures the incidence of anxiety before the evaluation of reading comprehension in high school students in order to contribute to the analysis carried out to explain the results of the reading comprehension tests. The research has a quantitative approach of correlational scope. The instruments used for reading comprehension were the reading comprehension test of the Ministry of Education and the Test Anxiety Questionnaire (CAEX, Valero, 1999) in order to measure the degree of anxiety. This research allows schools to generate strategies that lead to self-control and adequate management of anxiety in order to improve their academic results in reading comprehension.
