Overview

It is 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri, when fourteen-year-old Adam Tangere is admitted to the hospital with an unknown blood disorder. As his doctors struggle to treat him, Adam discovers that grief is the most powerful emotion of all after a family friend is killed in an accident.
