Since 2020, she has actively shared her love of ghost towns through Nevada Ghost Towns & Beyond, Radio Goldfield, presentations at museums and historical societies, and publications, including Nevada Magazine. She is well known online as NVTami. Her specialties are the little-known ghost towns and long-forgotten stories of life in the Old West. Tami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology, as well as a Master of Social Work. She is a licensed therapist and taught courses about people, families, and communities at Western Nevada College. She presents to various historical societies and works with non-profit groups to preserve Nevada's historical resources. Raised in Idaho, she lives on the family's 4th-generation Carson Valley ranch.
