Jerry Doyle is an award-winning actor, director, writer and singer with an extensive background in regional, national, community and professional theatre. He has performed in television shows from Pigeon Inlet to series such as Traders, Jules Verne, Republic of Doyle, and Emily of New Moon. Jerry has acted in films including Misery Harbour, Grownup Movie Star, and John and the Missus. His stage work includes leading roles in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Mass Appeal, Tuesday's With Morrie and The Fly Fisher's Companion. He has directed The Rose Kennedy Blues, Jesus Christ Superstar and Tribute. For six years, he was the Artistic Director of The Stephenville Theatre Festival. His professional work has included mining supervisor and general foreman, safety manager and safety loss control officer on various industrial sites across Canada. Jerry Doyle has used his abilities in the performing arts to write, design, coordinate, and implement innovative approaches to public awareness of cultural heritage. Jerry is from Avondale and presently lives in Kippens, Newfoundland, Canada.
