The covers are the original covers and the text and illustrations within are also the originals, though the photographs have been slightly enhanced with contrast. During my research about this book and its author, I encountered a few other pieces that will be of interest and have included them in the end of the original. These include a letter from the President of Sonora to the Sunset Homeseekers' Bureau (the original publisher), an advertisement for land in Hermosillo from Sunset, and what I believe is the first published short story from Bourdon Wilson, the author. The exact year of publication of this volume is not readily available but within the text, there is reference to a set of statistics from 1900-1909. Further, given Wilson's January 1911 article in Sunset about Hermosillo and the ad of land for sale in Hermosillo in the same volume offering an ""illustrated booklet"" - presumably a copy of this same one you are holding now - I shall put the initial publication date at 1910."
