"Elisa Jimenez uses her hands. She is a lifelong professional interdisciplinary artist, fashion designer, couturier, and practitioner of the sacred healing arts.In August 2016, a potentially devastating freak accident ripped her right thumb out of the socket, shredding the ligaments and tendons almost beyond repair. (She popped it back into place.) When Ms. Jimenez was told the entire ordeal would be approximately 8 months to a year, she devoted herself to becoming left hand dominant.These lyrical and beyond tantric play-full artworks are the fruits of her left-handed drawing devotion.
