In The Footsteps of St. Thérèse - How To Be Single But Not Alone: A Littleways Journey

Overview

This book is about the ""little way"" of St. Thérèse, whose footsteps are presented as an answer to how one can find happiness in the single state of life. It is a light conversational illustration of a contemporary journey, discerning a vocation and realizing through ""the language of prayer"" that one can be ""a bridesmaid never a bride,"" and ""live happily ever after.""

Author Information

Teresita A. Ong is fondly called ""Terri"" (or ""Titay"" by her family and those she grew up with). Born and raised in the Philippines, having lived in four countries, and fluent in four languages, she brings to the literary world valuable international experience with multi-cultural insights. She earned a B.A. in Foreign Service at St. Theresa's College, Quezon City, Philippines, an M.A. in Asian Studies from the University of the Philippines, and was a research scholar at the International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. Her career spanned over three decades in the travel industry: as an airline employee; as a travel office manager; as a travel director for top Fortune 500 executives; and as a tour organizer/tour director, leading Catholic pilgrimages, meetings, conventions, and international celebrations. Reflecting on her journeys, Terri felt a very strong calling to extend her ""travel ministry"" to a ""writing and speaking ministry."" Terri lives in Marina del Rey, California, her home state for over 30 years.
