OverviewAbout the author- Charlene Farrell is a counselling psychologist and educationist who works in a private school in Goa. She has always worked closely with the emotions and feelings of all age groups and her passion for writing began as a way for her to chronicle her experiences with emotions. Poetry has been her go to space to help her speak about the unspeakable and share the unthinkable. To her, expression flows easier through poetry. With no formal education in the art of poetry writing and writing in general, this is her first shot at compiling her thoughts. The book is her form of therapy, this is how she chose to deal with the most devastating loss she has experienced in her life. Her love for her dad, his struggle with illness and her dealing with a broken heart, is what this book is about. About the book: This book is the author's journey through grief. How it hits, the way it completely envelops you and how you slowly learn to cope with it. It started as a therapeutic process to help herself deal with the pain and hurt. It is a raw account of this complex experience, in the first year of losing someone close. This book is a combination of narrative writing and poetry. The book also speaks about coping, how to help people cope and how to walk with grief.
