Overview

Connection is at the heart of recovery. For those who are in a relationship, that means you must develop individual recovery as well as the ability to work in tandem with your partner to establish couple recovery tools that bring connection. For those not in a primary relationship, connection is just as critical and requires you to work in tandem with family, friends, higher power, etc. Research suggest that connection is essential to long-term recovery, and it requires many skills to stay connected, like honesty, communication, trust building, accountability, empathy, and many others. This book provides a step-by-step process for developing the skills for connection in tandem with solid individual recovery skills.
