OverviewInvestigating plant-based insecticidal compounds as environmentally benign pest control agents is the main goal of the in vitro and in silico investigation of phytochemicals from Syzygium aromaticum and Carica papaya and their toxicity effects on the rice moth, Corcyra cephalonica. Using sophisticated silico techniques like molecular docking, phytochemicals from papaya (Carica papaya) and clove (Syzygium aromaticum) are examined to forecast how they may interact with important biological targets of the rice moth. Their toxic, growth-inhibitory, and death effects in Corcyra cephalonica are assessed using in vitro bioassays. The goal of the research is to find efficient natural substances that can lessen the need for artificial pesticides while maintaining environmental safety.
