Author Information

Anthony Gambrill has lived in Jamaica for almost fifty years and is the chairman of a leading advertising agency and magazine publishing company. In l998 he received his Master’s degree in History and Heritage from the University of the West Indies. He is a past president of the Jamaica Historical Society. His interest in the buccaneers he traces back to the acquisition of the l684 English edition of Alexander Exquemelin’s book Boucaniers of America .
