OverviewExperiencing the inside of a prison is an almost impossible experience for most criminals in Germany. Narcotics trafficking, manslaughter, honor killings, rapes, clan crime... with hardly any of these crimes you have the chance to get into a prison in Germany. Especially for migrants it is very difficult to get into a prison. They are also discriminated against in this respect. On the other hand, notorious refusers of the compulsory fees for miserable television, fare dodgers or drunken homeless people are locked up. This exhibition catalog allows the friend of justice to catch a glimpse of a Berlin prison. The pictures were taken with a Lomography Pop 9, which had been smuggled into the prison hidden in a portion of hashish. All of the images shown here were displayed in an analog installation on a North Frisian farm on September 23, 2022. The exhibition lasted exactly one day. Afterwards all shown photographs were given away to the visitors.
