In His Chrysalis has purpose. It encourages those going through hardships to see the trials differently. It gives hope to those who feel God doesn't care about their problems. It reminds us God is not in a hurry. Well written, captivating, engages the reader throughout the book. It does not slow down and get boring. In every phase and chapter, the reader can relate on some level to the author. I'd recommend this to my Bible study! Judy's voice is sweet and encouraging. Very honest...even about some of the lowest moments in life. It's an encouraging book and would remind them that praying faithfully is powerful. That when God answers No, or Not yet, it's OK. He's got it under control.

Author Information

Judy Perez Velazquez is a speaker, minister, and church-planter. She was baptized at 11 years old and started teaching the very next Sunday. Judy is a Licensed Minister with the SoCal Network of the Assemblies of God. She and her husband Jose are the Founders and Lead Pastors of CityWide Mosaic in Temecula, California. Judy is passionate about sharing Jesus and watching every person, regardless of age, come to the full realization of who they are in Christ through an intimate relationship with Holy Spirit. Her greatest ministry and joy are her husband and their four children.
