Overview

In God's House discusses the research and study done by Reverend vanBolden regarding the societal trends within the American culture, specifically within the black church that makes up part of the Body of Christ. Dr. vanBolden believes that there may be a lack of direction existing within the leadership of the church and that church leaders need to be informed of how to better their current community, as it exists today. In God's House will go over the trends found and observed by Dr. vanBolden in an attempt to bring awareness to church leadership and allow them to further their impact as leaders of a church as well as a beacon within their community. Church leadership is one of the most important and influential aspects of the direction of the local church. It is church leadership that is biblically designed to protect, lead and disciple God's children, His chosen ones, His elect and those that He has set apart to lead the world toward universal reconciliation and restoration. Nevertheless, history has shown the reality of the impact of cultural trends and mores on the direction of the Christian church. Author Bio: Reverend vanBolden began his ministry serving as an associate minister with his home church in North Texas, where his preaching ministry began in 2002. He is also founder of the VSSA Scholarship Awards, which has help to provide academic scholarships for African American students to colleges and universities across the United States. Dr. vanBolden has been happily married for eighteen years and has one son.
