OverviewThe book addresses the contributions of urban geometry under hot-humid climate in the Melaka Town, Malaysia, and their benefits toward optimum cooling effect of water body modification. The aim is to examine quantitatively the potential of the cooling effect from water bodies in combination of street geometries and the development of comfortable microclimate conditions at street level in the city environment. Main methodology phase through computer simulation was developed. ENVI-met microclimate model was used to predict the impact of modification according to the proposed hypothetical urban geometries investigated include various street aspect ratio equal to 1, >1, and Full Product DetailsAuthor: Golnoosh ManteghiPublisher: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform Imprint: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform Dimensions: Width: 15.20cm , Height: 1.00cm , Length: 22.90cm Weight: 0.295kg ISBN: 9781518889769ISBN 10: 151888976 Pages: 154 Publication Date: 14 February 2015 Audience: General/trade , General Format: Paperback Publisher's Status: Active Availability: Available To Order ![]() We have confirmation that this item is in stock with the supplier.
