So, just when you thought that Paul Harris has covered every possible music education angle, he comes up with something new; something you did not realise you needed. Improve your sight-reading! A piece a week is a collection of short-pieces designed to support and improve sight-reading by developing note-reading skills and hand-eye coordination....Of course, as thoughtful teachers, we know that our pupils can lose their sight-reading skills when they are focusing on grade exams or other pieces, and so we find easier pieces in order to keep these skills alive.
