Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBuilding on 15 years of performing and directing staged theater, John Robison did his first improv show in the year 2000. It was terrible. But through time and perseverance, he managed to cobble together some decent performing abilities. He studied with i.o. Chicago and Second City as well as with many top improvisers around the country, and opened the Roving Imp Theater in 2007, and has hosted weekly improv shows since then, along with teaching classes and workshops and performing well over 1100 shows. In addition to the theater, he co-hosts two improvised podcasts, Gadflies & Monsters, and There Will Be Crossbows, where he has a current goal of writing a new song every week. In his spare time he devours non-fiction, spends quality time with his board game collection and performs in the occasional scripted play or musical. He lives in Lawrence, KS.
