She teaches Information Management Strategy to MBA students in the UK and Russia, and is a visiting lecturer on the IMBA programme at IAE Lyon, France. Vladlena's research interests are in the area of information security, information strategy and social networking. She publishes widely and her research is recognised by the British Computing Society (BCS) and the British Academy of Management (BAM).
