She holds a PhD in Information and Communication Science from the University of Zagreb and has a diverse academic background, including master's degrees in Museology and Journalism. Currently, she works as a research associate at the Institute for Migration Research and as a lecturer at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Zagreb. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Adult Education and Technology (IJAET), where she oversees the publication of cutting-edge research in adult education and technological advancements. Kristina’s research interests span across ICT and AI in education, assistive technologies, digital competencies, gamification, open science, and mixed reality applications in teaching.
