Director General of the University of Technology, Mauritius for nearly 2 years, among other major functions he has held like providing his services to Boards of Directors of various organizations. He has managed several crisis situations successfully. Dr. Chittoo has also provided consultancy services to the World Bank, the UNICEF, CIDA, CAFRAD, British American Tobacco, SME, Competition Commission, Nigerian Mortgage Re-financing Company, and a number of Companies in Mauritius. He has written 3 reports for the Government of Mauritius, several book chapters, more than 80 articles in refereed journals, some 50 conference papers assessed scores of Doctoral degrees and successfully supervised a dozen PhDs.
