Overview

Introduction: Guidelines recommend adequate resuscitation in tissue hypoperfusion to prevent microcirculatory damage. Objective: To evaluate the relationship between water balance and microcirculation in admitted patients. Method: An observational, longitudinal and prospective study of the impact of Hydromineral balance on Microcirculation in the period 2020-2021 in ICU8B of HHA was performed.Conclusion: The study sample is predominantly elderly female, ventilated and with sepsis. The type of elective surgical admission and the reason for shock admission prevailed. Fluid intake in critically ill patients is high on the first day with repercussions of positive water balance on hemogasometric parameters and microcirculation.
