OverviewWhat did the Corinthians think that Paul meant when he urged the them to imitate him as he imitates Christ? Exploring 1 Corinthians, Romans, 1 Clement, and early Christian texts, it is likely that the Corinthians knew more of Jesus's teachings and lifestyle. Using the fruit of collective memory studies, this study approximates a collective memory about Jesus.
