Laura Stanfill is the award-winning publisher of Forest Avenue Press and the author of the historical novel Singing Lessons for the Stylish Canary. She's a graduate of Vassar College and the Yale Publishing Course, which she attended thanks to a scholarship from the Independent Book Publishers Association. She lives in Portland, Oregon. Allyson Ryan is a theatrically trained, award-winning actress. Her diverse talents have led to a two-decade career in audiobook narration, voice-over, theater, TV, commercials, and film. She is the recipient of AudioFile magazine's Earphones Award for titles in memoir and fiction. She received a Society of Voice Arts nomination for her work in nonfiction narration and earned a Best Actress nomination from Ad Age for her work playing ""Mom"" in TV commercials.
