Laborde is also the coauthor of Pelican's Canal Street: New Orleans' Great Wide Way and Christmas in New Orleans. Fair Grounds official track photographer Louis Hodges, Jr., took his first picture of the New Orleans Fair Grounds when he was twelve years old.
