Author Information

Cathy Phelan is an author, teacher, and photographer. Cathy's I'm Glad series has combined the idea of engaging children into the reading process--cementing what they are reading--with the important notion of appreciating loved ones. Danielle McDonald began her career designing children's products for various industries including toys, bedding, furniture, art, and craft materials and apparel. She turned her attention to illustration when she became a mother and has gone on to create several well-loved characters for book series that include Ella Diaries, Ella and Olivia, Olivia's Secret Scribbles, and Tracy Lacy. She has also illustrated picture books, board books, and various collections of songbooks for children.
