West Australian born and bred, Helen lives south of Perth in the rural zone where she enjoys her horses and six great grandchildren as they grow. Helen writes adult fiction, poetry, textbooks, and children's books for all ages. Helen conducts writing workshops around Western Australia including demonstrating that you don't have to be an artist to write children's picture books. She has conducted courses in creative writing in various training colleges. A book publisher, editor and graphic designer, Helen is now working on her next children's picture book 'You Are Not Alone'. Helen is the current Chairperson of The Society of Women Writers WA, a position she has held for ten years.
