Overview

This is the follow-up to my gritty love story, Gillian, Go Away. A story about a diverse mix of imperfect, all-too-human characters navigating Manhattan while also dealing with the stress of their everyday lives, emotional baggage, and the recent appearance of something ominous. All three must battle the darkness either alone or collectively. Everything is not as it seems. Gorgeous and wounded Gillian is currently battling for her life. Alex, who is arrogant and deceitful, is lured into the fallout from his friend's crimes. And cocky Max, who is imperfect, must either accept the music of retribution or compose a brand-new symphony of lying. The points of view of each character are interspersed over the course of the story. I want you to lose yourself in their story of desire, love, deadly competition, and wicked implications because sometimes it is too real and too dark. Enter the world of a lovely new romance that has some unexpectedly challenging turns. Although it's recommended to read the two volumes in order, you can certainly read them separately.
