Overview

The third book in the captivating Meet the Universe series from MIT Kids Press introduces readers to photons - the particle that sheds light on the universe! Meet the incredible photon – the fundamental particle that makes up light. Thanks to the photon, we can see colours and the world around us – and photons also make up the light we can't see, like radiowaves and X-rays. Travel faster than the speed of light as you join the photon on a fascinating journey to uncover their extraordinary secrets. Then work together with the photon to make new scientific discoveries and change the world for the better. Kid-friendly rhyming text from physicist Eve M. Vavagiakis and luminous artwork from Mike Malbrough will spark young readers' curiosity and have them racing to make their own discoveries.
