Author Information

Fiona Patchett grew up in Yorkshire and studied history at university. She has lived in Italy and San Francsico, but now lives in London. She has written many children's books, on subjects as diverse as stargazing, history and baking. She loves cooking and spends hours testing recipes for fairy cakes. Sarah grew up in London, then studied German and Fine Art in Oxford and Hamburg. She joined Usborne after working at Profile Books and Thames & Hudson, and now spends her time writing about art, investigating germs and devising ways to stave off boredom - all the important things, basically Ever since he read the Spy's Guidebook when he was eight, Andy has wanted to write books for Usborne. He's very happy that he got to fulfill his dream. As well as writing books and stories for Usborne, Andy has published several fantasy novels about demons and dark magic. He likes playing board games and making up imaginary worlds.
