John Lyles is a practicing Architect in Southern California who has always had an affinity for architectural history as demonstrated by 35 years of high end ""period style"" custom homes. His career began at age 15 when the use of drawing instruments for documentation was the current technology and he still employs hand drafting today with some tools being 100 years old. Accepted with Distinction to a young School of Architecture at Ball State University, he graduated in 1974 with a BA in Architecture with Minors in Sociology and Business Administration.
