Overview

Set off on a coloring journey through time, to the distant yet familiar world of Medieval Europe! Inspired by illuminated manuscripts of the 1000-1300s, this coloring book focuses on the representation of flowers & and plants. All the images are reproductions of or inspired by marginalia, the tiny pictures in the margins, from actual manuscripts of the period. Featuring over 40 unique pages based on actual Illuminated Manuscripts! Immerse yourself in the lines, colors, and images of the past so you can get a little bit of relaxation here in the present. Don't forget to cut out your favorites, share them with friends, or keep them for a moment of quiet contemplation like the monks who originally created them!
