Overview

Annie Boyd's world is turned inside out when she has to leave her friends in the city and move to the small country town of Ridgeview. Annie's only hope is to finally fulfil her life-long dream: getting a pony of her own. But Annie's dad has other ideas. Bernadette Kelly has written many children's books covering a wide range of subjects, but the closest to her heart are the books in which she gets to write about her lifelong love of horses. Her two series, Riding High (also known as Ridgeview Riding Club) and Pony Patch, have been published in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe. Bernadette lives in regional Australia with three horses and a kelpie dog. Bernadette's many adventures, especially those on horseback, offer lots of opportunities for new stories--and that's the way she likes it. Tanya Dougherty is a classically trained Australian actor and audiobook narrator currently based in Brooklyn. With over twenty years of professional experience in theater, film, teaching, and puppetry, in narration she has been able to combine her passion for storytelling with her life-long love of reading books.
