OverviewThe aim of the book is to help people suffering loss through suicide, and provide information about sources of help. At the same time the authors hope it will raise general awareness of suicide in order to break down taboos and stigma. This title emerged from a support group founded to help people with family members who had committed suicide. Members of the group initially wrote their stories as a form of therapy, but later realised that putting together a book could help many, like themselves, who had difficulty finding resources to help them come to terms with their suffering. A foreword has been provided by the previous WA State Governor John Sanderson, and an introduction from Dr Shelia Clark, a published author in this field.
