Overview

When a renowned Olympic figure skating coach is murdered in Petersburg, amateur sleuth Michelle Kilpatrick and her close-knit group of friends from the university's Commuter Lounge find themselves entangled in a chilling mystery. As Michelle digs deeper, she uncovers more than just secrets and scandals- she stumbles upon a sinister thread connecting the crime to a mastermind still lurking in the shadows. Could Coach Wyatt's murder be part of a larger, more dangerous scheme? And if so, who will be the next victim? The police are convinced they've caught the killer, but Michelle fears the real culprit is still at large-watching, waiting, and ready to strike again. As she inches closer to the truth, she realizes that her investigation isn't just putting herself in danger-it's threatening the lives of those she loves. Can she stop the killer before it's too late, or will her determination cost her everything? Icy Secrets, Scandalous Lies is the third installment in The Michelle Kilpatrick Mysteries, a nostalgic cozy mystery series brimming withsuspense, charm, and the intrigue of 1970s academia.

Author Information

Hi! I grew up in Ohio and earned a degree in photojournalism from Bowling Green State University. Recalling my life as a commuting college student in the 1970s-rushed breakfasts, vending machine lunches, and too many hours spent hunting for a decent parking spot-I began writing The Michelle Kilpatrick (cozy) Mysteries. When I'm not plotting fictional murders (strictly on paper, of course), I enjoy organic gardening, devouring mysteries and historical fiction, and indulging in cheesecake-because life is too short to skip dessert. I have three adult children and have embraced my role as grandma to their ever-growing collection of furbabies.
